NAUI Master Scuba Diver
The NAUI Master Scuba Diver certificate is the most sought after certification in recreational diving. This course requires students do an introductory scuba diver, at minimum two open-water diving and a rescue diver. The program is an ongoing education opportunity that emphasizes classroom discussions, practical application, student participation, and student involvement. Students must complete E-learning courses prior to their first session, as well as complete a minimum of 23 hours of classroom study with an instructor. The course material covers topics like diving equipment, diving mechanics, deep diving, search and rescue, and diving physics. Students must also pass an exam that covers water skills similar to that of a NAUI Assistant Instructor.

How to become a SSI Master Scuba Diver
The SSI Master Scuba Diver rating, one of the highest levels of recreational diving, is available. This rating combines skills development with knowledge and experiences. The qualification allows scuba divers to be role models to other recreational divers. To earn this elite rating, divers must have completed at least four special courses and 50 dives.
