PADI Open Water Diver certificate
PADI Open Water Diver certification can cost as low as $350. If you're lucky enough to find a study place, it can also be as cheap as $225. In addition to the Open Water Diver manual, you'll need to complete a series of knowledge reviews. The reviews are designed to test your skills, such as swimming and floatation. Competencies for confined water diving

Maximum training depth
Open Water certifications will teach you how safe to dive to the maximum allowed depth. However, the question that many Open Water certified divers have is how deep they can go. Open water diving is allowed for up to 50 minutes by most agencies before they recommend that divers go deeper. If you are considering doing an advanced course, you'll have to learn how to swim at least 50 feet/15 meters without stopping. A typical course lasts fourteen minute so you must be able to swim at least 200 yards (185 meters). The course requirements
