Certification Courses Nitrox

There are many reasons that you should get certified as a Nitrox diver. Nitrox diving gives you the opportunity to feel the thrill of enriched water. It also helps you to become more confident as a diver. There are many organizations that offer certification courses. These are just a few: NAUI Enriched Airnitrox Diver, PADI Enriched Air Divers, SSI Adventure Diver and Open Water Diver.

PADI Enriched Air Diver

The PADI Enriched Air Diver (EANx) certification is for divers who wish to extend the bottom time of their dives. This course includes a home study and a brief classroom session. The EANx course teaches you about the oxygen content in the scuba tanks, how to use a scuba analyzer and the standard procedures for recording that percentage.

You can prolong the time you can stay underwater with Nitrox-enriched air divers without having to make frequent stops. Because there is less nitrogen in the air mixture, they are safer. Additionally, enriched air mixtures usually contain 32% to 36% oxygen which makes them suitable for diving at shallow depths.

NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver

A enriched air diver certificate is a great step to start your dives. This course teaches you the fundamentals of blending air, the risks associated with high oxygen concentrations, and how to handle the equipment. Furthermore, you'll be able to use a divecomputer and analyze the contents. The Equivalent Air Depthance will be explained, as well as how to use a standard diving table. Additionally, you will learn common blending methods for nitrogen or oxygen.

Nitrox is an enhanced form of oxygen, or enriched air. It's a type o breathing gas that has more oxygen than regular air. The increased oxygen content means you can stay underwater longer and not need to refill your tank. Because it reduces decompression fatigue, this is good for your health. Also, enriched divers have shorter surface intervals.

SSI Adventure Diver

SSI International is a recognised diving organization. The SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification ranks among the top. The certification requires a combination of experience, knowledge, and skills. You must have at least 50 dives, and four specialty courses to be eligible for this award.

The SSI Adventure Diver nitrox course teaches students how to dive in low visibility. This course teaches divers how to navigate in darkness, use specialized equipment and communicate with their buddy. After completing the course, divers will be awarded the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver rating and are eligible to receive the SSI Nitrox Specialty certificate.

SSI Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water Diver Course is an internationally recognized certification program. It includes three sections: academic learning; in-water swimming pool training; and multiple open water dives. You will learn to plan and dive with enriched oxygen mixes of up to 40% oxygen during this course. This can increase your bottom speed and decrease your surface time. It also helps you avoid decompression syndrome.

PADI and SSI diver centers have different ways of handling certifications. With a PADI certification, you are required to purchase your manual. However, with an SSI certification, you receive your card from the dive center where you completed your course. PADI certification centers may also offer temporary cards that you can use as proof of your certification.
