Divers with a Dive Specificty can gain valuable skills and knowledge in divers' different areas. A Diver with a Specialty can learn to make every dive a better experience. This type is usually specialized in a certain area of diving and may specialize in particular equipment. Some of these specialties include Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx), Boat Diving, and Deep Scuba. These diving specialties are available to learn more.

Enriched Air Nitrox

To learn more about the many benefits of enriched water, you can become a PADI Enriched Air(Nitrox) Diver. This special course is independent, hands-on, and includes optional two nitrox diving. This course can be done online or offline. You can also complete it whenever you want, no matter where you live. You will need to have a tank that meets the special oxygen service standards for this specialty.

Underwater Photography

For those who love taking pictures, diving is a great way to expand their skills and knowledge. Underwater photography is one of many specialties in diving. You will learn the basics and techniques for underwater photography in this course. You'll also learn about underwater lighting and composition. Additionally, you will learn proper etiquette for underwater photography and how to properly photograph them. The PADI eLearning course will help you learn about underwater photography and connect you with an instructor.


Boat Diving

The PADI Boat Diver Specialty Course is for you, whether you are just beginning your dive adventure or looking to take on a new challenge. The course includes learning about the different types of dive boats, proper etiquette, entry and exit procedures, and how to pack your gear for the trip. The course will also teach you about boat safety and how best to handle emergency situations while on the water.

Deep Scuba

There are many Deep Scuba Diving specialties. Advanced Diver certification means that certified divers can dive deeper than the initial dive. Deep Scuba divers must be able to recognize the effects of pressure and breathing when diving. Their body functions and systems are more vulnerable as they descend deeper. They must also be able to plan and carry out safe deep dives. Some of these specialties require greater training than others. However, there are a few prerequisites for certification.

Navigation is a critical skill in scuba diving. Scuba divers need to be able to navigate underwater, regardless of whether they are trying to find an object or dive to a beautiful coral reef. Scuba divers need to be able navigate, so it is crucial to learn how to use the compasse correctly.
