TDI Extended Range is a specialty course for divers who have limited access to Trimix. It emphasizes solid procedures, skill development, and diver response to situations. Students will be able to safely dive in Extended Range environments and use up to two decompression chemicals. TDI Extended Range training diving is conducted using nitrox, air, or both.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens doors to new dive sites. This certification can also allow divers to travel up to 60 m/200 ft. Extended Range courses are also available online. TDI eLearning makes it possible to complete the Extended Range course online if there isn't a dive centre near you. This course will teach you all about the benefits of extended range diving.
The Extended Range course will help you dive in more challenging environments and lower your nitrogen narcosis. Stage decompression diving is a process that involves using two stages of enriched air, oxygen or enriched water. The Extended Range course may also be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
