TDI Extended Range, a specialty course designed for divers with restricted access to Trimix, is available. It emphasizes solid procedures, skill development, and diver response to situations. Students will be able to safely dive in Extended Range environments and use up to two decompression chemicals. TDI Extended Range training dives are conducted on air, nitrox, or both.
TDI Trimix
TDI Trimix certification opens new doors for divers. This certification also allows divers to have more bottom time, and can go up to 60 meters/200 feet. Extended Range certifications are also available as eLearning. TDI eLearning allows you to complete the course online if you are unable or unwilling to go to a local dive center. This course will inform you about the benefits and advantages of extended range dives.
The Extended Range course allows you to dive in more challenging areas and reduce your nitrogen narcosis. You will learn how to plan stage decompression dives using up to two stage bottles, enriched air, or oxygen. The Extended Range course may be combined with TDI Trimix Diver Certification.
TDI Trimix training can prepare you for advanced dives and allow you to dive up 60 meters in normoxic conditions. TDI Trimix training focuses primarily on safety and skill improvement, since any problems at this level must be resolved quickly. Divers need to be comfortable with procedures that will avoid any complications in order to do this.
