Advanced Open Water Diver training is recommended if you're looking to enhance your diving skills. This course will improve buoyancy, navigation, deep diving, and other skills. It also offers three specialty diving options. When you complete this course, you can earn credit towards specialty certifications.
Adventure dives
To become a certified scuba diver, you must complete adventure dives. These dives improve your awareness and buoyancy, as well as communication skills. Underwater naturalist dive
The PADI Underwater Naturalist course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to interact with the aquatic ecosystem. Students learn about basic organism groupings and identification, how these species live in different habitats and how to practice environmentally-friendly diving. Students also learn about marine conservation and biodiversity.
PADI Underwater Naturalist Course is for those divers who have obtained their PADI Open Diver Certification and are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the marine environment. The course includes information about coral reefs. marine organisms. food chains. and the relationships between those organisms. The course lasts for one day and involves two open water dives.
Peak performance buoyancy diver
Staying buoyant is one of the most important skills you can learn while diving. You must be buoyant all the time, as falling in water can cause decompression sickness. Incorrect buoyancy control can also increase the chance of getting injured by sharp rocks and marine life. PADI Peak Performancebuoyancy Specialty helps divers maintain proper buoyancy and to avoid these issues.
The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty is a one-week class that includes classroom and pool sessions, as well as two optional open water dives. It teaches students about buoyancy control and allows them to glide more easily through the water. PPB's goal is to make diving more fun, efficient, and easier.
Maximum depth: 30 m or 100 ft
You will be able to dive down to 100 feet with the PADI Advanced Open Water course. Deeper than that is dangerous, as you can experience nitrogen narcosis. This depth is also dangerous for making mistakes that can prove to be fatal. You should not dive any deeper than this depth without training.
Most Advanced Open Water courses can be completed within one to two days. The instructor will determine how long the course takes. You can choose to take the course on-line or at your local beach. It is important to have instructor training in advance of taking the course.
