How to become a Deep Diver

As a deep diver, you have the opportunity to dive to depths beyond those normally considered safe by the diving community. This could be because of local authorities setting limits. You may also have the chance to visit some of the most stunning underwater environments in the world, like the Galapagos and Elphinstone Reefs. Elphinstone Reef

Dive at Elphinstone Reef with a liveaboard to get the best experience underwater. You can dive in this location backwards, so you'll have to be confident in your backward roll. The best times to see sharks is in the morning when there are fewer people. There are also more tropical fish. The resident hawksbill tortue will also be available for you to view.

Blue Hole in Belize

The Great Blue Hole is an enormous marine sinkhole that lies off the coast Belize. This spectacular diving site is located close to Lighthouse Reef's center. At 124 metres deep and 318 metres across, the Great Blue Hole covers 70,650 square metres of surface area. You can find some of the most breathtaking underwater scenes in the area, which is where deep divers can enjoy them. This Belize diving spot is ideal for deep divers, as it has a cave-like feel and offers excellent visibility.

Galapagos

If you are looking for an adventurous and rewarding diving experience, consider becoming a deep diver at Galapagos. Galapagos Islands are home to incredible marine life. Because of this, the water is very cold and has limited visibility. The cool season (June through October) is the best time for diving in the Galapagos Islands. Elphinstone

The Elphinstone Reef is a beautiful dive spot with vibrant marine life and soft coral. The reef is 300 metres long and lies between 20 and 40 meters deep. It is covered by large gogonians, sponges and sea whips. You can find giant trevally, redtooth triggerfish, and redtooth triggerfish by dropping in to the finger-shaped plateau. A hammerhead shark is possible, but it's rare and extremely elusive. This dive site features clear water and strong drift.

Belize Blue Hole

The Great Blue Hole is the name of a Caribbean Sea dive site that you have probably heard about. The Blue Hole lies approximately 62 mi from Belize's coast. It is an almost perfect circular hole. It is located at the Lighthouse Reef atoll's center and is approximately 125 meters in depth. Scuba divers and snorkelers have enjoyed the beauty of its surface waters for many decades. However, very few have braved its depths.

Elphinstone, also known by Elfinstone, is a popular boat dive site in Southern Egypt. This saltwater dive spot is located in Marsa Alam. It has a maximum depth 150 feet (46m). The visibility ranges from 61 to 70 feet (19 to 21 meters).
